How the 4 Gates Work
G1 — PAY
Know who you are paying. Start with an initial scope inquiry. Describe the product, seller, contracting entity, payee and any mismatches. We agree the review scope before arranging document transfer; the current inquiry form does not accept file uploads.
Evidence before a decision
The intended G1 workflow is: upload what you already have; check the transaction; independently verify material unknowns; receive an evidence-linked Decision Report. Verification is scoped to the questions at hand. Findings state what was checked, what supports them, and what remains unresolved.
G2 BUILD · G3 RELEASE · G4 SHIP
Know what is being made, what was actually made and what is leaving China. These are the subsequent decision checkpoints in the framework. No production, release or shipping workflow is automatically activated by a G1 inquiry. Any later work requires a separately agreed scope.
Follow up through your account
An on-screen reference confirms that your inquiry was recorded. Signed-in users can see their linked requests, public replies, quotes, currency, scope and next action. Anonymous requests are not automatically claimed when an account is created. Saving a reply sends no automatic email or SMS.
